Penn State students earn prizes at SHPE competition

  • A group of five Penn State engineering students recently earned prizes at the 2019 Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers National Convention's "Innovation Challenge: Engineering with a Purpose" event. "Going to the SHPE Convention as a first-year student helped me learn what I need to do to get a summer internship next year," said Isabella Perez, who earned first price in the Extreme Engineering Challenge.
