As SHPE marks its 50th anniversary, my hope is for the organization to deepen its commitment to K-12 outreach, inspiring more students from diverse backgrounds to pursue STEM careers. I aim to advocate for inclusive pathways to STEM education to broaden access and support Latine youth, especially those in underfunded schools and low income families.
