Miguel Alemañy

Miguel Alemañy is a 40-year veteran of P&G, retired now after serving as VP, R&D. He currently owns his own company, Innomatrix, which specializes in consumer goods and the perfume industry. As the SHPE Board Chair, Miguel was a tireless advocate for Hispanic issues and in-demand public speaker. He has returned as the interim CEO while the Board of Directors conducts a thorough search for the next individual to fill this important leadership role.

Support SHPE’s mission by managing Finance, IT, HR, and Contracting.

What was your first job?

I worked as a bus-girl and waitress starting at age 14.

Before working at SHPE I worked in the fashion industry and was a swimwear and intimate apparel buyer.

I design strategies and integrated solutions for supporting and celebrating Hispanic success in engineering, technology, science, and mathematics, and research SHPE’s impact.

What was your first job?

I was a waitress at “Broasted Chicken” in Miami, OK. I wish the restaurant was still there. The chicken was amazing!
